Francisco Guerrero is a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist crafting immersive sound journeys that blend Deep Jazz House, Afro Latin House, and live instrumentation. His sets move effortlessly between rhythms and cultures, creating a dynamic space where body and soul can flow freely.
With roots in jazz, Afrobeat, and Latin American traditions, Francisco's music bridges the analog warmth of live performance with the pulse of electronic grooves. As the creative force behind The ROA Collective, he brings together musicians from around the world to co-create genre-blurring performances that mix sitar, percussion, synths, loops, and visuals into a single, hypnotic experience.
He is also the founder of Sámara Open Jam in Costa Rica and The Roatán Open Jam in Honduras—collaborative music events that celebrate improvisation, community, and the power of spontaneous creation.
Now based in the rich musical landscape of Roatán Island, Francisco has collaborated with some of the island's most talented artists, performing live sets that fuse DJing with synthetizers, guitars, live looping, percussion and powerful bass lines, blurring the limits between stage and dance floor, concert and ritual.
Francisco is the Resident DJ at the exclusive Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort & Spa, where he curates sunset soundscapes and special events for an international audience of travelers, divers, and luxury guests. His sets are designed to complement the natural beauty of the Caribbean—evolving from elegant jazzy and organic grooves into deeper Afro Latin rhythms as the sun sets over the reef, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and deeply connected to the island’s spirit.
Beyond his sunset sessions, Francisco has led the musical direction and entertainment programming for some of the resort’s signature events, including the Food & Wine Festival, Roatan Super Picnic, and International Scuba Day. For these occasions he designs immersive performances that blend DJ sets with live musicians, transforming the hotel’s venues into vibrant celebrations of music, culture, and the Caribbean lifestyle.
Whether behind the decks or leading a jam, Francisco is devoted to music that heals, connects, and makes people move.
